This website has been created to support the members of the Families with Children from China that reside in the Midlands of South Carolina.
The purpose of an FCC organization is to provide support for families that have completed or are considering a Chinese adoption.
FCC chapters share the following three goals:
(1) To support families who've adopted in China through post-adoption and Chinese culture programs.
(2) To encourage adoption from China and support waiting families.
(3) To advocate for and support children remaining in orphanages in China.
In addition, meetings allow the children of adoption to see multi-racial families similar to their own, and socialize with others that share their heritage.
The Midland FCC Group is very active with the Midlands Chinese Community. Our activities include: membership directories, family picnics and pot-luck suppers, celebrations of Chinese festivals and holidays, pre-adoption information, playgroups, Chinese language and culture classes for our children.
